This month, we honor W.E.B. Du Bois (1868–1963) — pioneering scholar, writer, sociologist, and civil rights activist whose work left a lasting mark on Black history.
Du Bois dedicated his life to confronting racial inequality and expanding opportunities for Black Americans.

Through his scholarship, writing, and activism, he helped bring the realities of racism into national conversation and became a leading voice for civil rights.

He was also a founding member of the NAACP and spent decades advocating for education, equality, and the advancement of Black communities.

More than a century after much of his groundbreaking work began, W.E.B. Du Bois’ legacy continues to be studied, remembered, and celebrated. ❤️🖤💚
